To celebrate its commitment to good corporate citizenship, Medtronic periodically shares sustainability-related "good news" stories with employees. I wrote several of these types of articles for distribution across multiple internal communications channels at Medtronic between 2011-2018.
For the article shown here (2017), I highlighted Medtronic's efforts to reduce water consumption at a Medtronic facility in Boulder, Colorado, which was saving approximately one million gallons of water per year at that time.
From conducting initial interviews to writing the content, managing edits, and obtaining approvals, I guided several Sustainability-related articles through publication and monitored employee engagement on MyMedtronic.com. I also managed the Go Green For Life Sharepoint site and wrote several articles similar to this one during a 7-year period (2011-2018.)
